Titanium Cadmium plating is a specialized process for that improves the corrosion resistance of cadmium plating alone and significantly reduces the effect of hydrogen embrittlement. The titanium molecules intermingle with cadmium molecules, allowing hydrogen gas to escape easier and thus reducing the effect of hydrogen embrittlement.
